AntagningX — Chrome Extension

Overview

AntagningX is a browser extension that displays historical admission statistics from UHR (Universitets- och högskolerådet) on course search result pages at universityadmissions.se and antagning.se. Your privacy is important to us, and the extension is designed to operate without collecting any personal data.

Data Collection

AntagningX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information (name, email, etc.) is collected.
• No browsing history or web activity is tracked.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
• No analytics or telemetry data is gathered.
• No data is sent to any external server.

How the Extension Works

The extension reads application codes displayed on course cards within universityadmissions.se and antagning.se. These codes are matched against admission statistics data that is bundled locally within the extension package. All processing happens entirely in your browser.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions, each used solely for its stated purpose:

• Host access to uhr.se — Used to embed UHR's statistics detail page in an iframe modal and to auto-dismiss the cookie consent banner within that iframe.
• declarativeNetRequest — Used to remove response headers (X-Frame-Options, Content-Security-Policy) on uhr.se sub-frame requests so the iframe can load.
• Content scripts on universityadmissions.se and antagning.se — Used to inject admission statistics onto course cards on these sites.

Third-Party Services

AntagningX does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL. The extension's functionality and data practices will remain transparent.
